A career-changer who moved from administrative work to web frontend engineering amid the massive wave of AI. Over a year of hands-on experience.
I enjoy logical thinking — mapping out every part of a feature's architecture, tackling each node in turn, and finally connecting the dots into lines until the whole system comes together. That sense of accomplishment is what drives me. Having entered the field mid-career, though, there's a lot to learn: from core fundamentals to the latest technologies and how to make good use of AI tools. When a client reports a product issue or my manager assigns a new feature, I first clarify the real problem and the detailed specs, then research whether there's a suitable technical approach — making sure the direction stays right. I keep building experience through on-the-job training. When it's unclear whether an issue lies in the frontend or backend, I help the backend team investigate; when a design mockup can't fit the spec, I proactively put together notes and visuals and work with the designer and sales team to decide how to adjust. I don't limit myself to the frontend.
My skills may not be at the level of teaching others yet. But from the perspective of someone outside the field, I can share my experiences, the pitfalls I've run into, and the things I've observed and thought about. I hope some of it proves helpful to you.

Proficient in semantic markup, responsive design, CSS Grid / Flexbox layouts, and SCSS modular architecture. Comfortable sourcing and integrating CDN packages to match design specs. This is my primary language in daily work.

Proficient in DOM manipulation and event handling; builds UIs and optimizes UX to meet client needs. When a specific feature or screen has no ready-made package available, I carefully confirm the specs and find a way to make it happen.

Design Tools
Basic skills in Photoshop and Illustrator. Uses Canva templates for quick designs. Leverages English and Japanese references from overseas design sites to produce frontend components and effects.
